Description of procedures for refunds, provision of interchangeable goods, exchange of goods, etc. in case of refusal to purchase a product/service
Return of the product
The procedure for returning the product is regulated by Article 26.1 of the Federal Law in the Russian Federation "On the Protection of Consumer Rights".
The consumer has the right to refuse the product at any time before its delivery, and after the delivery of the product - within seven days;
Return of the product of proper quality is possible in case its presentation, consumer properties, as well as the document confirming the fact and conditions of purchase of the specified product are preserved;
A consumer does not have the right to refuse a product of proper quality that has individually-defined properties, if the specified product can only be used by the person who purchased it;
If the consumer refuses the product, the seller must return the amount of money paid by the consumer under the contract, except for the seller's expenses for delivering the returned product to the consumer, no later than ten days after the consumer makes the corresponding request.
Refusal from a service
The consumer's right to terminate the service contract is regulated by Article 32 of the Federal Law in the Russian Federation "On Consumer Rights Protection."
The consumer has the right to terminate the service contract at any time by paying the contractor a portion of the price in proportion to the portion of the service provided before receiving the notice of termination of the contract, and by compensating the contractor for the expenses incurred up to that point in order to fulfill the contract, if these expenses are not included in the specified portion of the service price.
